Black Students are less likely to get a job than White Students

In order to fix the problem why Black students are less likely to get a job than White students, we need to create more career counseling programs in predominantly black schools. By creating awareness through social media, we can have a fundraiser targeted toward philanthropists to make sure black students are gaining access and building their qualifications for jobs. This would be an effective solution because philanthropists would sponsor internships and volunteer programs which would give black students more opportunities to build their experience. Other solutions proposed such as blind resumes won’t work because there’s no way to track if businesses are really staying true to the concept of being blind.

Great work– one thing to remember– you’d want to indicate why the idea of more funding for counseling centers is effective as well. Noting a statistic that points to the usefulness of a service like this for black students might be a place to start.
